Today, I have been spending a happy couple of hours sawing the excess off a beautiful, and huge, cello back I purchased at the VSA.  I am not planning to use it for a few years, but it is a good idea to let some of the stresses work themselves out before I start shaping it in earnest.  Also, what a great way to keep warm during the Minnesota winter!
